Hamilton City Schools lost a life long Hamiltonian and district school board member, Mr. Tom Alf earlier today. For over 40 years, Mr. Alf played an instrumental role in the Hamilton community and public education.

In honor of Mr. Alf, all Hamilton City School District offices and school buildings will be closed on Monday, November 18, 2019.

This will give many family members, educators, and friends of the family the opportunity to attend Mr. Alf’s funeral services that are scheduled on Monday. Mr. Alf will be missed by a community that he truly loves, but his memory and impact will positively benefit future generations.

Las Escuelas de la Ciudad de Hamilton perdimos ayer a un Hamiltoniano de toda la vida y miembro de la junta escolar del distrito, el Señor Tom Alf.  Durante más de 40 años, el Sr. Alf desempeñó un papel instrumental en la comunidad de Hamilton y la educación pública.

En honor al Sr. Alf, todas las oficinas y edificios escolares del Distrito
Escolar de la Ciudad de Hamilton permanecerán cerradas el lunes 18 de noviembre, 2019.

Esto dará a muchos familiares, educadores y amigos de la familia la oportunidad de asistir a los servicios funerarios del Sr. Alf que están programados para el lunes.  El Sr. Alf será extrañado por una comunidad que realmente ama, su memoria e impacto beneficiarán positivamente a las generaciones futuras.
