Socktober at Brookwood bw

During the week of Oct. 18th - 22nd, Brookwood will have a daily theme to encourage participation in the Socktober drive. 

We are collecting NEW socks to donate to the Caring Closet, a non-profit organization that helps the children of Hamilton. They are in particular need of adult medium and large socks and men’s athletic socks. There is also always a need for underwear as well.

Engaged in Math bw

Mrs. Brosius and Mrs. Christian were excited to see their students engaged in a math game of Who Has More.  Students were using their math skills and vocabulary during this activity.  We are #BigBlueOnTheMove!

Kindergarten Fun with Bats bw

Miss Ferry and Mrs. Southard’s kindergarten friends had a fun day of learning today!  We are  learning some interesting facts about bats as we learn the short /a/ sound and the word family -at.

Mrs. Brosius and Mrs. Christian's kindergarten class has been working each day to know  what it means to #BeBrookwood.  This amazing student is our student of the month.  She is respectful, responsible, safe, kind, and #BeBrookwood.  Way to go!!!

We are excited to bring back Girls on the Run for another great season here at Brookwood!

The students in Mrs. Brosius/Mrs. Christian's class were excited to start their math station rotations.  They participated in a variety of activities to make their math skills stronger. These kindergarten mathematicians are excited to learn what it means to #BeBrookwood!

6th Grade Teamwork bw

Miss Brookshire’s classes worked together to escape their teamwork escape room. They found out that teamwork really makes the dream work!!

Hamilton Educator Honored With Lifetime Achievement Award ohio tesol lifetime achievement

On the final day of the Exploring Words Summer Camp for our English Learners, Denise Lepe Perkins was honored with the 2021 Ohio TESOL Lifetime Achievement Award. Her impact on the Middletown and Hamilton Communities is simply immeasurable.
