Trapped in a Snow Globe


The students in Mrs. Buelter's 3rd grade class wrote four-paragraph essays about being trapped in a snow globe.  Students were involved in all of the steps of the writing process (prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, publishing, and perhaps their favorite part... the writer's share).  As students moved through the writing process, while also reflecting on their writing, they ended up creating something meaningful and gained confidence in their writing abilities.  What would you do if you were stuck in a snow globe?
